Even though it was part of my course, they did diddly squat , I am still without a job.

Hey Ricky, glad I could help! The TEFL Academy will give you the lowdown on job hunting during the course. Check out this link to learn more about common scams in the ESL industry: https://www.tprteaching.com/daves-esl-cafe/#scam. Basically, the school shouldn’t usually need to ask you for any money, and Google the school and make sure it is legitimate.

Thank you for your speed reply I really do appreciate it. I did read on your page there are a lot of scammers out there, I was hoping that I could leave my email address with you and you could possibly get a legit TEFL agent to contact me. My personal email address is [EMAIL]

Kind regards
Ricky

Hi Ricky, that is an excellent question. Every school is different, offering various benefits, such as medical insurance, free accommodation, and flight reimbursements. You may be able to negotiate a good offer in your country of choice if you and your wife are teaching abroad together. Consider the healthcare system, education system, language, cultural differences, etc. If I recommend a country, I am afraid it won’t meet your needs on all criteria, but you can get in touch with The TEFL Academy via their messenger system and see what they recommend. Maybe research the countries and list the pros and cons of each. I heard Taiwan is a nice place for expats and even families, but I don’t know exactly how safe it is right now. Many European countries offer high-quality healthcare, and the people are friendly too. I wish you all the best on your journey!

I have a chronic medical condition which requires me to attend the local hospital on a monthly basis will this be a negative factor if I wanted to teach abroad? My wife and I were considering to do this course to go abroad, however, we do have 2 kids, one is aged 7 and the other is 12 will this be problem for all of us to move abroad together once we both have completed the TEFL course? If all is good any country in particular that you would recommend us to move to after we qualify? I mean taking into factor that our kids will still need to continue with their schooling career and also a hospital for me to attend also.

Hi, John, thanks for your… thoughtful comment. I love the keyboard warriors out there! On this website, I promote a lot more than The TEFL Academy. I have tried their course, loved it, taught abroad, teach online. Now I teach ESL groups privately and I am doing very well at my job. All of this would not have been possible if it weren’t for the course I took at The TEFL Academy. If you look closely on the internet, most websites have an affiliation with the brands they are promoting. This helps pay the fees that it costs to own a website. There are some review websites for TEFL that are explicitly used to promote their own fake TEFL course, so be careful out there. I am just giving my honest review.

Hi there, nearly every section of the course has video content.
