Currently, we are building the site with popularly asked questions in relation to the English language. These tackle common issues faced when writing and speaking the language. Surprisingly, we have more native English-speaking countries viewing the content than non-native English-speaking countries. We are hoping to improve your English language skills little by little by providing insightful articles and resources.

There are so many ways to improve your English language skills. Listen to music or podcasts, watch TV, join a language exchange or get private lessons. You can find more ideas in this article. You could also consider taking an English language course.

You can teach online if you have a laptop, webcam and stable internet connection. You must be a fluent or native English speaker to teach English online. You will also need a teaching certificate, like a TEFL, TESOL, ESL, CELTA etc. Some companies require a degree in any subject area. You do not need to know any other language to teach.

Pay from online teaching companies varies but the average pay is approximately $10-$20. Certain platforms will allow you to earn $30+ for group sessions. You can also go solo and charge your own rates. If you create your own lesson material, you can charge more.

Countries all over the world accept English language teachers. There is a big demand for native and non-native teachers to teach abroad. You can teach just about anywhere. See our list of country recommendations.

You can teach English online and abroad without a degree, although your options are more limited. You may wish to teach online on a site like Cambly, Allschool or Outschool. Some countries that accept those without a degree include Cambodia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina and Spain.

Yes! Many of the higher-paying companies are based in Asia, and they may ask you to teach a few peak hours online, which is from 6 pm-9 pm Beijing Time. Some companies operate on a 24-hour schedule, giving you full flexibility when choosing your schedule. You could also team up with a local language school or teach private students face-to-face in your area.

You do not need to be a native English speaker; many countries will accept non-native English speakers. Getting an online job may be more difficult, but it is possible. You could also consider going solo and finding private students.

There are a ton of free resources and websites that will help you create lesson plans. Most companies provide lesson materials, so there is little to no preparation.
