The tools are very varied, and they guide me in my own learning in a fast, enjoyable, and entertaining way. I can say that with English Class 101, “there is no way not to learn English” because I read, write, listen, repeat, watch audios, have libraries, word banks, audios, flashcards, evaluations, and digital contact with a teacher, etc. I consider it a complete course.
What you liked about the platform:
Andrea: I liked that the platform has very well-structured content by sections, and it is very easy to access each of the available tools.
On the other hand, it guides you step by step and directs the best way to achieve learning, always supporting you in the process.
I really liked that the lessons and audios were short. I don’t particularly like long lessons, as they make me tired. I think this point is important to keep the interest in the lesson and to achieve the learning objectives.
I consider that the dashboard page is very important because it allows to follow up the learning and guides the steps to follow in the process.
I liked the word bank with 2000 words. Having libraries with different topics related to the normal life situations of any person allows you to practice the English that is commonly used today.
What features did you like best and why?
- Lessons and audio recordings were short, which kept my interest
- Speed of the audio: changing the speed of the audio allowed me to catch the pronunciation and understand what the speaker says
- Ability to listen to audios and record audios to compare helped improve pronunciation. The tool focuses on improving listening comprehension and pronunciation.
- The review audio track allowed me to review some vocabulary words from the lesson and repeat them out loud, improving my pronunciation.
- The flashcards allowed me to listen to the phrase on the card and then record my pronunciation and compare.
- The slideshow was worthwhile because I listen again to the pronunciation of the sentence and reaffirm my understanding.
What you didn’t like about the platform:
Andrea: What I really didn’t like at the beginning was that I found an excessive amount of information on the page, it overwhelmed me at first, but as I went through each section and tool, I found it easy to use the page.

Andrea: Truly, I consider that each of the features of the page is useful and complements each other as a didactic resource to achieve faster learning in an enjoyable way.

But the most important thing is that I can take the course on my mobile, and I can practice whenever I want; that is to say, I can adjust my learning to the time available, taking advantage of my time in an efficient way.
